UCLA punter Aaron Perez got off two punts in the second half that helped the Bruins stop the Trojans, 13-9, in the regular-season finale for both teams at the Rose Bowl.
"The team covered me and God blessed me with a couple of good kicks in this game," he said.
After UCLA's final drive stalled at its own 25 in the fourth quarter, Perez punted the ball 63 yards - the longest of his career - to the USC 12-yard line where the Bruins downed the ball.
In the third quarter, Perez had a 62-yard punt that forced the Trojans to start from their own 7. They were unable to score then as well.
