As has been reported before, suspended players weren't named, in accordance with federal privacy laws. Reports are saying that 11 players with starting experience are affected.
The buzz is that the defense will be hit hardest. Kenny Ingram, for example, is making a short-term move from free safety to linebacker. "It's a lot more physical, but I like hitting more anyway," said the 6-6, 222-pound junior, who made no reference to the reason behind the position switch. But asked if he would be staying at linebacker next spring, Ingram said: "I'm going back to free safety."
