    Former Noles Get Their Degrees

    * As the Noles began practice on Friday, reports are saying that there are bowl eligibility concerns for at least 12 players. The penalty, based on percentage of total games played, could be 3.5 to 4 games for each player and will run into next season.

    * FSU will practice again today, twice on Monday and Wednesday and then once each on the other days until the team breaks on Saturday morning. Offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher said the offense looked sharp and the tempo was good. He called it one of the better practices this season.

    * Two former Nole greats will get their degrees today. William Floyd will get his degree after more than 17 years since he arrived at FSU, where he won a national championship ring in 1993 as the starting fullback. Also graduating is Terrell Buckley who went on to earn the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back in 1991 as a junior before playing in the NFL. Congrats to both on their achievement.
