FSU Sports Information Excerpt:
The Seminole football team concluded its short week of preparations for UAB with an 18-period practice Thursday afternoon. FSU did put on shoulder pads but there was very little hitting as the team worked on special teams and then spent the rest of the day practicing versus scout teams. The practice was fast-paced and upbeat.
Head Coach Bobby Bowden:
Asked if FSU would simplify the offense
"No, we can't afford to simplify, we'll throw everything at them. It was very obvious we couldn't execute everything last week, but each week we should get a little bit better."
