Starting tackle Shannon Boatman, who has been hampered by a knee injury,is expected to play against North Carolina State. Just in case, guard David Overmyer has been also working at tackle. Bowden also said both centers had hand problems but will be fine. And Jackie Claude, who missed practices following the Rice game because of a mild concussion, has rejoined the team in practices.
