What They Are Saying About the FSU-NC State Game

After struggling with injuries over the past two weeks, FSU's offensive line appears to be healthy heading into Thursday night's nationally televised ACC game against North Carolina State.

''We have some bumps and bruises,'' starting center John Frady said. ``But I think everyone is going to be 100 percent come Thursday night.''
    Miami Herald

"It was only Tuesday, and FSU says it's already prepared. Coach Bobby Bowden said the team has done all it can do to prepare for Thursday's game at North Carolina State, even deal with crowd noise. "
    St. Pete Times

"Last year, FSU wasn't able to run the ball against N.C. State's three-man defensive front, and while the Wolfpack are considerably more talented up front than Rice, the Seminoles were able to establish the running game against the Owls' three-man front. Tailbacks Antone Smith and Lorenzo Booker each rushed for more than 100 yards. "You have to be able to run the ball," Weatherford said."
    Florida Times Union

"A complete game is what Bowden seeks five games into the season.
Players feel the same way. They know N.C. State is dangerous, especially when the Seminoles saw how the Wolfpack beat Boston College late in the game on Sept. 23."
    Emerald Coast.com

"The Seminoles plan to start three fresh faces in the secondary: a true freshman, a redshirt freshman and a sophomore who among them have one college start. The development, spawned by a slew of early-season injuries, was good news for the anxious players and maybe NC State sophomore quarterback Daniel Evans."
