Terry Bowden's Hand Evident In Proposed FSU Coaching Changes

Bobby Bowden has said that his son Terry Bowden is not involved in the hiring of new coaches at FSU. FSU Athletic Director Dave Hart has also said the same thing. However, if you follow the names, it is clear that it has Terry written all over them. The names seem to be widely approved by most analysts but one has to wonder why Bowden and Hart would deny that "little" Terry has no involvement in the process. Maybe because fans and boosters are tired of the family connections and nepotism issues?

Fisher was QB coach for Aburn under Terry Bowden and played QB for Terry Bowden at Salem College and Samford.

Lawrence Dawsey who is currently at USF was graduate assistant at LSU in 2003. He also was an outstanding receiver at FSU.

Trickett's name has been linked with that of LSU offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher because of their friendship through the years with Terry Bowden, the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the fact that both are natives of the Mountain State. Trickett was offensive line coach at Auburn from 1993-98. This was the same time that Terry Bowden was the head coach at Auburn.
