Now that the regular season is done and the Heisman trophy looms on the horizon, who would be my pick for that coveted award?
Colt McCoy from Texas would get my vote. As quarterback for Texas, McCoy completed almost 78% of his passes, threw for 3,445 yards, and 32 TDs. He also rushed for 576 yards and 10 TDs.The only loss by McCoy and Texas was to a good Texas Tech team at Texas Tech.
I would vote Sam Bradford number 2. Bradford as QB for Oklahoma's high powered offense threw for 4,464 yards, completed 68.3% of his passes, and had 48 TDs. Bradford and the Sooners had their only loss to Texas.
Coming in third would be Tim Tebow. Let the hype begin. There are those that are lobbying hard for Tebow. On the season, he threw for 2,515 yards, completed almost 65% of his passes, and had 28 TDs. He also rushed for 564 yards and 12 TDs. However, Tebow and the Gators lost to Ole Miss in Gainesville which a lot of people seem to forget.
