Nothing Special About Play Of Noles On Saturday

What can you say about such a poorly played game on both sides of the ball. Here are my grades:

Offensive Line: This was not a good day for either offense or defense and it starts with the offensive line. The running game was limited to 102 yards and the Gators got 4 sacks and 5 tackles for a loss in the game.
    Grade: F

Running Game: The running game was basically shut down by the Gator defense. Smith who was out for a lot of the game rushed for 57 yards. Jermaine Thomas had 37 yards rushing and got the only TD of the game. The Noles had a total of 102 rushing yards.
    Grade: D

Quarterback: None of the quarterbacks could do anything against the Gators which was aided by the poor play of the receivers. Ponder had 5 completions for 60 yards and 2 interceptions. Richardson had one completion and 1 interception. Drew Weatherford who played in the second half had 4 completions for 61 yards and a fumble. It was an awful showing.
    Grade: F

    Receivers
: The receivers were basically MIA. By my unofficial count, the receivers had six dropped passes. Greg Carr had only 2 catches for 24 yards, Preston Parker had 2 catches for 13 yards and Corey Surrency had no catches. Total reception yards were 140.
    Grade: F

Offensive Coaching: Jimbo Fisher's offense only converted 21% of their third down attempts in the game.Where was the offense and what was the game plan? Fake field goal attempts?
    Grade: F

Defense and Defensive Coaching:Mickey Andrews and his defense did not have a good day. It was humiliating.

The defensive front was not able to get to Tebow as the Nole defense had only 1 sack in the game. Defensive end Everette Brown had 0 sacks and 1 tackle in the game.

The defense allowed the Gators to run at will as they ran over the Noles gaining 317 yards on the ground. The linebackers had some tackles but they were basically meaningless.

The secondary was burned on numerous plays for TDs and had no interceptions for the game. Someone forgot to tell the defense that tight ends are allowed to catch the ball. The Gator tight end Hernandez had two TDs for the game.
    Grade: F

Penalties: The Noles had 55 yards in penalties which was less yards than the Gators but so what?
    Grade: C

Special Teams: Graham Gano again was automatic as he made all three field goal attempts but did have an extra point blocked. Gano averaged 39.3 yards on punts and 61.5 yards on kickoffs.

Bert Reed goofed on letting a punt go instead of catching it. Michael Ray Garvin had a great day as he returned 5 kicks for 172 yards with a long of 63 yards. The Noles' special teams allowed the Gators an average of 18.5 yards on kickoff returns.
    Grade: B

Looks like Ponder's poor performance was at least due to a hidden back injury.
