Furlong To Have Surgery On Foot

According to published reports, offensive lineman Will Furlong will have surgery today on his left foot. Furlong has started the past five games at right guard. He injured the foot in the N.C. State game. Freshman David Spurlock, who replaced Furlong in the N.C. State game, is expected to start this Saturday.

In other injury news, junior linebacker Dekoda Watson, who was sidelined early in the N.C. State game with a pulled hamstring,has confirmed that he has been out for awhile and is not sure about whether he will play on Saturday.
