The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that Miami linebacker Colin McCarthy will not play Saturday against Florida State. The paper states that this was according to a UM press release. Apparently McCarthy is out with a shoulder injury. He is among the leaders in tackles for the Canes and it was McCarthy last year who returned a fumble for a touchdown in the final minutes of the game in the win over the Noles in Tallahassee.
