Two Noles were named to the ACC Players of The Week for their performance against Miami. Offensive lineman Rodney Hudson was part of the line that helped pave the way for Christian Ponder to rush for 144 yards, the second-most rushing yards by a Seminole QB in the history of the program. He opened holes for Smith on his four TD runs and was a key in limiting the Hurricanes to zero sacks.
Also,defensive back Tony Carter was honored by the ACC for his multiple interceptions against Miami. He also had four solo tackles in the game.
