Gano Sets Consecutive Field Goal Record

The Noles got a much needed win against Virginia Tech as they head toward a crucial game against Georgia Tech this Saturday. Here are my recipients for the game balls:

Graham Gano set a school record on Saturday with his 13th consecutive field goal and also it was the fourth consecutive game in which he kicked a field goal of at least 50 yards – another FSU record. He was 3 for 3 in field-goal attempts and averaged 51.7 yards on three punts.

Defensive end Everette Brown had a great game as he had 3 sacks and also had 5 tackles with 4 being for a loss.

Greg Carr had three catches for 100 yards which included two impressive catches on long pass plays that led to a pair of third-quarter touchdowns.
