The final saga regarding the academic fraud scandal has concluded. This past weekend, FSU officials met with the NCAA Committee on Infractions in Indianapolis for more than seven hours to present their findings and case. FSU officials have made no comment. The only statement was from general counsel Betty Steffens who said that FSU had asked the committe to impose no further sanctions and accept the penalties that FSU imposed on itself . Knowing the NCAA, I would say two words. Fat chance. The committee's report is expected in six weeks or longer.
The Noles made the polls again. They are ranked #24 in the Associated Press top 25,#23 in the coaches’ poll and #25 in the BCS.
