Farquharson And Surrency To Hook Up Again

There are always a lot of personal stories when FSU and Miami square off against each other given the fact that a lot of the players played with or against each other in high school. One of those interesting stories involves Nole receiver Corey Surrency and Canes receiver Kayne Farquharson.

The two met while playing at El Camino Junior College in California in 2006. Both had attended high schools in south Miami-Dade but oddly enough, neither played on their high school football teams. Now they both are leading their respective teams in receiving TDs and will hook up against each other on Saturday.

University of Miami starting offensive tackle Reggie Youngblood will miss Saturday's game against Florida State according to Miami head coach Randy Shannon. Youngblood was injured during the first half of last week's 28-24 loss to North Carolina. Seniors Tyrone Byrd and Chris Rutledge will fill in at right tackle for Youngblood. On another injury note, defensive tackle Marcus Forston, who missed the UNC after an injury against Texas A&M, has practiced the past two days and will play Saturday.
