"Brown Out"As Noles Roll Over Terps 37-3

What a difference a week makes. Led by the defense and the spectacular play of defensive end Everette Brown, FSU rolled over Maryland 37-3. Not many prognosticators gave the Noles much of a chance given their play against BC last week.

This week the Noles looked good on both sides of the ball and if not for some costly penalties near the goal line, the score would have been even larger. What was a black out game for the Terps turned into a Brown out as Everette Brown had unofficially 5 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks, and one forced fumble. Christian Ponder also played well especially when he ran the option play.

Against all odds, the Noles are still in the race for winning the ACC Atlantic Division. Now Nole fans will be rooting for Maryland to defeat BC next week. If that happens, the Noles clinch a trip to Tampa and the ACC championship. And of course congrats to Myron Rolle on his Rhodes scholarship.
