    Newton's Fall...Gators Get Recognized

The Gators have had to make a move in regard to their back up quarterback situation. The Gator's No. 3 quarterback Cameron Newton was suspended indefinitely after his arrest for theft last week.

Punter Chase Henry is now the third-team quarterback, while wide receiver Percy Harvin also is taking some shotgun snaps this week. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Henry was a three-year starting quarterback at East Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., where he threw for more than 1,700 yards his junior season.

Junior quarterback Tim Tebow has been named as one of three finalists for the Maxwell Award. Tebow won the Maxwell Award last season and could become the second player to win the award twice.

Freshman running back Chris Rainey was named the SEC Freshman Player of the Week for his game against The Citadel this past Saturday. Rainey had a career-best 142 rushing yards on seven carries and one touchdown against The Citadel.
