FSU's next opponent Maryland beat North Carolina on Saturday when Obi Egekeze kicked a 26-yard field goal with 1:42 remaining to seal a 17-15 victory. The win keeps Maryland in control of its own destiny in the Atlantic Division race as the Terrapins will qualify for the ACC championship game by winning their final two games.
